In a significant disciplinary action announced on July 19, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee has officially imposed a series of fines and suspensions against the Argentinian Football Association and several of its affiliated players and coaching staff members. The regulatory measures stem from incidents associated with the New York New Jersey Stadium, bringing severe financial and competitive consequences for the South American football governing body as it navigates these stringent international penalties.

At the organizational level, the Argentinian Football Association has been hit with a massive total fine amounting to 321,000 US dollars. In addition to the heavy monetary sanction, FIFA has issued a strict stadium capacity restriction, mandating that the association must play its upcoming two home matches with only 50 percent of the venue's total spectator seating capacity filled.

Individual players have also faced severe consequences under the disciplinary rulings issued by the committee. Leandro Paredes received the harshest player punishment, being handed a 10-match suspension alongside a 90,000 US dollar fine. Nahuel Molina was similarly penalized with a 7-match suspension and a matching fine of 90,000 US dollars.

Further disciplinary measures target additional squad members and coaching staff involved in the proceedings. Thiago Almada has been handed a 1-match suspension accompanied by a 30,000 US dollar fine. Assistant coach Roberto Ayala faces a stricter penalty of a 3-match suspension alongside a 30,000 US dollar fine.

Rounding out the committee's extensive list of penalized individuals, Pablo Martin Paez Gavira has also been sanctioned with a 1-match suspension and a 30,000 US dollar fine. These cumulative fines and match bans highlight the rigorous enforcement of disciplinary standards by international football authorities following the events at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
