The Brazilian football officials explicitly informed the ground staff that the density of the grass on the playing surface must be significantly increased before any match can take place.

The visiting delegation strongly warned that failing to improve the grass density at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan could lead to severe consequences for the visiting players.
