Daffodil Bondhushava, in collaboration with BRAC Microfinance, successfully organized a comprehensive three-phase tree planting and care initiative at Daffodil International University. The environmental campaign was undertaken to address ecological concerns, highlighting the verified statistic that the total forest coverage of Bangladesh accounts for only 16 percent of the country's total land area. Throughout the multi-phase program, a total of 1,500 tree saplings were distributed and planted across designated areas to enhance campus greenery and promote environmental awareness among students and staff.

The first phase of the initiative commenced on June 11, focusing specifically on the maintenance and care of trees that had been previously planted around the Daffodil International University campus. During this phase, participants reflected on the long-term impact of their campus greening efforts. মাহবুব পারভেজ (Mahbub Parvez) remarked on the enduring nature of these efforts, stating, 'সামনের ওই তিনটা কৃষ্ণচূড়াগাছ আমাদের বন্ধুরা লাগিয়েছিল এবং নাম দেওয়া হয়েছিল বন্ধুবৃক্ষ।' (The three krishnochura trees ahead were planted by our friends and were named Bondhubriksho.)

The subsequent phase of the campaign took place on August 3, expanding the scope of the environmental activities at the university. On this day, members of Daffodil Bondhushava distributed 550 saplings to attendees in front of the Knowledge Tower's small field at the university. Following the distribution, participants actively engaged in practical conservation work by planting 150 saplings along the roadside adjacent to the university premises, ensuring a visible and lasting contribution to the local landscape.

To ensure the long-term survival and healthy growth of the newly planted greenery, the student organizers implemented structured agricultural strategies. Discussing the ongoing maintenance plans for the vegetation, (We will use compost soil along with urea fertilizer within a few days upon the advice of the teachers of the university's Department of Agricultural Science.)

The successful execution of the tree planting and care program was supported by active participation from numerous individuals and campus organizations. The collaborative effort involved members from Daffodil International University, the Daffodil International University Green Earth Club, and the DIU Agricultural Science Club. Key individuals who contributed to the initiative included Anwar Habib Kajol, Mahbub Parvez, Sheikh Muhammad Allaiyar, Diljeb Kabir, Mahfuza Parvin, Anika Nawar, Nanziba Purna, S M Abhi, Abu Huraira Bayezid, Mohima Jannat, Farhan Anand, Rizvi Amin, Rakibul Haque, Anik Bhushan Saha, Ishrat Jahan, Salman Farsi, Suman Hossain, Abidur Rahman, Mostofa Mahfuz, Zahirul Islam, Muhammad Naim, Nusrat Jahan, and Tabassum Arpita.
