CJP Leaders and Workers Attacked During School Visit in Rajasthan Village

Leaders and workers belonging to the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) were subjected to a violent attack on Friday, August 21, while visiting a village located in the state of Rajasthan, India. The targeted incident took place specifically in Rampura Kanwarpura village, situated within the Bagru assembly constituency area of Jaipur. The delegation was led by Ashutosh Ranka and included Shivangi Sharma, while other political figures connected to the broader regional landscape included Govind Singh Dotasra and Jawahar Singh Bedham, with media coverage of developments referenced through NDTV.

According to the confirmed details of the itinerary, Ashutosh Ranka was leading a party delegation intended to inspect a government primary school that has been operating out of a cowshed for a prolonged period. Elaborating on the circumstances of the trip, Ashutosh Ranka stated that they had visited the exact same school the previous year as well. Furthermore, Ranka confirmed that their party had duly informed the police in advance regarding their scheduled visit to the location on that day.

However, the inspection was cut short and left incomplete due to a sudden outbreak of violence, during which multiple party workers sustained injuries and vehicles were extensively vandalized. Describing the attack, Ashutosh Ranka claimed that BJP thugs were already present at the scene beforehand. Ranka stated that their volunteers were physically beaten, vehicles smashed, phones destroyed, and a woman was also assaulted. He added that his own shirt was torn during the altercation and one of their members suffered a broken arm.

In stark contrast, opposing perspectives regarding the motivation behind the confrontation emerged from the ruling political establishment. Swami Balmukundacharya asserted that he learned local villagers strongly opposed the CJP's visit to the area. According to Swami Balmukundacharya, the residents demonstrated that they did not want the environment which the CJP was attempting to foster, maintaining instead that the CJP's actions were actually intended to ruin the educational environment for the students.

The fallout from the violent confrontation in Rampura Kanwarpura quickly extended beyond the rural outskirts of Jaipur and into the state legislature. The developments on the ground prompted an immediate political reaction inside the Rajasthan assembly. During the legislative proceedings, members representing both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (Congress) engaged in intense verbal arguments over the troubling incident and its underlying causes.
