Chittagong Build Expo 2026 Set to Launch in August
Chittagong will host the three-day Chittagong Build Expo 2026 for the first time. The landmark event is organized by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh, Chittagong Chapter.

Chittagong is preparing to host the three-day 'Chittagong Build Expo 2026' for the very first time. This major international exhibition is scheduled to take place over three days, specifically on August 20, August 21, and August 22, 2026. The announcement was officially made during a press conference held on August 18, 2026, in Chittagong, Bangladesh, which provided comprehensive details regarding the upcoming schedule and arrangements.
The prestigious event is being organized under the initiative of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), Chittagong Chapter. As the primary organizing body, the chapter has successfully coordinated various logistical aspects to bring this inaugural trade exhibition to the port city. Venue arrangements have been finalized at the prominent five-star hotel, Radisson Blu, located within the urban center of Chittagong.
A total of 30 organizations originating from both Dhaka and Chittagong are participating in this landmark expo. These participating entities represent various sectors relevant to building, architecture, and construction, gathering under one roof at the Radisson Blu hotel. The strong presence of enterprises from the country's two major urban centers highlights the commercial and professional significance of the exhibition.
The press conference held on August 18, 2026, was attended by several notable architects and professionals representing the organizing committee. Among the distinguished individuals present were architect Md. Mizanur Rahman, architect Ashik Imran, architect Mehedi Iftekhar, architect Mohammad Asaduzzaman Chowdhury, architect Aniket Chowdhury, architect Abdullah Rumman, and Mohammad Monjurul Haque.
These key figures, alongside the Chittagong Build Expo 2026 sub-committee, have been instrumental in planning the event. The collaboration between the Institute of Architects Bangladesh, Chittagong Chapter, and the supporting entities such as N Mohammad Group aims to showcase advancements and foster professional networks during the three-day gathering in August 2026.
