Chinese President Xi Jinping Arrives in New Delhi for BRICS Summit

Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in New Delhi, India, to participate in the upcoming BRICS summit. This significant diplomatic journey marks President Xi Jinping's first official visit to India in seven years, drawing intense global and regional attention as diplomatic engagements resume between the two major nations.

Upon his arrival in the Indian capital, President Xi Jinping checked into the Taj Palace Hotel, which has been designated as his primary place of residence during the visit. The duration of the Chinese leader's entire tour in New Delhi is scheduled to last for approximately 24 hours.

During this high-profile visit, President Xi Jinping met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders engaged in crucial bilateral discussions aimed at addressing matters of mutual interest and diplomatic relations between Beijing and New Delhi.

To ensure the highest level of security for the visiting foreign dignitary, massive arrangements were orchestrated by the Delhi Police and the Ministry of External Affairs of India. More than 15,000 police personnel, alongside 200 companies of paramilitary forces, were extensively deployed across strategic locations in the capital.

In addition to heavy personnel deployment, advanced technological surveillance measures were implemented around the clock. Authorities established over 700 CCTV cameras and set up five specialized control rooms, where security officials actively monitored footage from nearly 500 individual cameras to maintain strict vigilance throughout the visit.
