Brazil Football Federation Delegation Arrives in Dhaka for Inspection

A delegation from the Brazil Football Federation is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka today, according to confirmed reports. The visit by the representatives of the five-time World Cup-winning football nation comes as Brazil is set to play a match in neighbouring India.

As part of their current regional tour, the Brazilian delegation has traveled to inspect the available sports facilities and infrastructure in India. Following that assessment, the representatives are extending their trip to Dhaka today to evaluate local conditions and venues.

During their schedule in the capital, the delegation will be taken to the national stadium in the afternoon. Iqbal Hossain confirmed the itinerary, stating that they will arrive in Dhaka at noon and be escorted to the national stadium during the afternoon hours to inspect the facilities.

In addition to inspecting the stadium grounds and amenities, the visitors from the Brazil Football Federation are scheduled to hold a courtesy meeting with Bangladesh Football Federation (Baffa) President Tabith Awwal to discuss matters of mutual interest.

International football visits to Dhaka have a notable history, most recently marked in 2011 when Argentina and Nigeria played an international match in the capital city. The current inspection by the Brazilian officials brings renewed international attention to the country's football infrastructure.
