Border Guard Bangladesh Announces Recruitment for 106th Batch Soldiers
Border Guard Bangladesh has published an official recruitment notice for general duty sipahis in its 106th batch. The application process for eligible male and female candidates is scheduled to begin on September 15.
Border Guard Bangladesh, commonly known as the BGB, has officially released a comprehensive recruitment notification for the position of sipahi in the general duty category for its 106th batch. This announcement opens up fresh employment opportunities within the country's prominent paramilitary force, inviting qualified individuals to join its ranks.
According to the newly published guidelines, both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for these positions, ensuring inclusive participation across the applicant pool. Prospective applicants must meet specific educational benchmarks to qualify for the initial screening stages of the recruitment process.
In terms of educational prerequisites, candidates are required to have successfully passed the Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examinations with a minimum grade point average of 3.00. Additionally, applicants must hold a Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification with a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
The physical standards for candidates have also been clearly outlined in the official notification. For male applicants, the mandatory height requirement is set at 1.68 meters, which translates to 5 feet and 6 inches. For male candidates belonging to specific ethnic minority communities and designated groups, the height requirement is relaxed to 1.63 meters, or 5 feet and 4 inches.
Similarly, female applicants must meet specific height criteria to be considered for the sipahi posts. The standard height requirement for women is established at 1.574 meters, equivalent to 5 feet and 2 inches. Meanwhile, female candidates from designated ethnic minority communities and identity groups are required to stand at a minimum height of 1.524 meters, which equals 5 feet.
The official application procedure for the 106th batch of sipahi positions in the Border Guard Bangladesh is formally set to commence on September 15. Interested candidates who fulfill all the educational and physical requirements are advised to prepare their documentation ahead of the application opening date.
