Mohammad Mofij Ullah Bablu, an advisor to the Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA), made this pressing demand through a formal statement issued on Sunday. In his statement, he directly appealed to the relevant authorities of the government to reconsider the policy direction for the betterment of the national economy and the apparel manufacturing community.
Emphasizing the necessity of the policy reversal, Mohammad Mofij Ullah Bablu stated, "I call upon the relevant authorities of the government to cancel the decision to impose an import ban on knit fabrics in the new import policy, in the interest of the country's export and industrial sector."
