Bangladesh Women's Sports Association and Archery Federation Sign MoU
The Bangladesh Women's Sports Association and the Archery Federation have signed a memorandum of understanding for girls' archery training. The agreement, spanning a duration of three years, was formalized in Dhaka.
In a significant development for the promotion of sports among young females in the country, a formal memorandum of understanding has been officially signed between the Bangladesh Women's Sports Association and the Archery Federation. This collaborative agreement focuses specifically on facilitating both short-term and long-term archery training programs designed for girls.
The official signing ceremony took place at the Shaheed Riya Gop Mohila Krira Complex, situated in the Dhanmondi area of Dhaka. The venue served as the backdrop for this important institutional partnership aimed at expanding athletic opportunities for female participants within the nation.
During the event, the memorandum of understanding was formally endorsed by the leadership of both participating organizations. Barrister Sarowat Siraj Shukla, serving as the president of the Bangladesh Women's Sports Association, signed the document on behalf of her organization.
Simultaneously, Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal, who holds the position of president at the Archery Federation, put his signature to the agreement representing his respective sporting body, thereby cementing the cooperative framework between the two entities.
Under the terms of the newly established agreement, the framework of the memorandum of understanding has been set to remain in effect for a total duration of three years. To ensure the success of the training initiatives, the Archery Federation has committed to supplying essential support by providing qualified coaches as well as all necessary sports materials and equipment for the participants.
