Bangladesh Launches Nationwide Freelancing Training for Educated Youth

The government of Bangladesh has officially initiated a nationwide program to provide professional freelancing training to educated, job-seeking youths across all 64 districts of the country. This large-scale educational and professional development initiative is designed to equip young citizens with modern digital skills to enhance their employment prospects in the global digital economy.

Implementation of the program has been entrusted to E-Learning and Earning Limited, which will directly oversee the execution and educational delivery of the curriculum. Eligible candidates who wish to participate must meet the established educational prerequisite, which requires a minimum academic qualification of a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent.

Prospective applicants must submit their applications by the final deadline of September 15, 2026. Following the application phase, an oral examination for candidates has been officially scheduled to take place on September 20, 2026. The official list of finally selected candidates will subsequently be published to the public on September 23, 2026.

Once the selection process concludes, the intensive training program is scheduled to officially commence on October 1, 2026, and will continue uninterrupted until December 31, 2026, spanning a total duration of three months. Throughout this period, participants will undergo specialized instruction tailored to modern freelancing demands.

Importantly, the authorities have confirmed that no admission or course fees are required for enrollment in the program. To further assist participants during their studies, all enrolled trainees will receive a daily commuting allowance calculated at the rate of 200 Bangladeshi Taka per day.
