A United States Navy warship has arrived at the port of Pattaya in Thailand, marking a significant visit tied to the region's historical military relations. According to local officials, including Anont Saitir and Poramese Ngampiches, the arrival has prompted coordination among local authorities such as the Thai police to manage the port visit safely and efficiently.

The deployment of the vessel follows a lengthy operational journey that began late last year. The warship originally departed from San Diego in the month of November last year before being reassigned to the Middle East's Gulf region during the month of February.

This visit continues a long-standing tradition of American military presence in the area for rest and recreation purposes. Historical records note that during the Vietnam War era, United States military personnel also frequently traveled to Pattaya to take rest breaks from their active deployments.

The current port stay in Thailand is temporary and has a firmly established departure schedule. Authorities have confirmed that the United States warship will officially set sail and depart from the Pattaya port for the United States on the upcoming date of September 6.
