University Students Embark on Sylhet Batch Tour Named 'HoriKel Abhijan'

A group of 59 university students has officially embarked on a batch tour to Sylhet, undertaking an excursion that has been officially named 'HoriKel Abhijan'. This large student group organized the trip to explore various scenic and notable locations within the region, bringing together batchmates for a collective travel experience.

The journey for the 'HoriKel Abhijan' officially commenced at night on September 2. To begin their travels, the participants gathered at the Kamalapur Railway Station, where they boarded the Upaban Express to transport the entire group toward their destination in Sylhet.

During the course of their batch tour, the 59 students have planned and undertaken visits to a diverse array of destinations across the area. Their itinerary includes stops at the historic Malnichhara tea garden, the expansive Ratargul swamp forest, Sadapathar located in Bholaganj, the scenic waters of Lalakhal, the border area of Jaflong, and the cascading Mayabi waterfall.

Among the specific locations featured in the 'HoriKel Abhijan' itinerary, the Malnichhara tea garden holds a prominent historical significance within the region. Records and historical accounts indicate that the Malnichhara tea garden was originally established far back in the year 1854, making it a point of historical interest alongside its natural beauty.

The extensive tour sees the group traversing various parts of the Sylhet region to experience its unique geography and landmarks firsthand. Through this carefully planned itinerary, the 59 university students are visiting multiple prominent attractions, ranging from historical agricultural sites and unique swamp forests to prominent rocky riverbeds, clear-water canals, border destinations, and natural waterfalls.
