The grueling calendar for this first round of European fixtures is officially set to kick off with matches taking place from the eighth to the tenth of September. Following months of high-stakes continental competition across Europe, the exhaustive league phase will ultimately conclude with the final round of matches scheduled for the twenty-seventh of January.
The ultimate goal for the thirty-six competing clubs is to secure a finish within the top eight positions of the unified league table, which grants direct advancement to the next round of the tournament. Meanwhile, the teams that finish anywhere from the ninth to the twenty-fourth position will be required to contest an additional playoff round of sixteen teams to determine who advances further.
