Law enforcement authorities in the capital city of Bangladesh made a grim discovery on Saturday morning when the bodies of two Chinese nationals were recovered from two separate hotels situated within the jurisdiction of the Uttara West Police Station in Dhaka. The sudden and simultaneous discoveries have prompted immediate investigations by local police forces to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths of the foreign nationals.

One of the deceased individuals was formally identified as Li Shing Chiang, whose estimated age is approximately 40 years old. According to the preliminary police findings, his body was discovered inside room number 905 of the Bengal Hotel and Hospitality Limited, located within the Uttara area. Investigators are currently gathering evidence and speaking with hotel staff regarding his stay at the establishment.

In addition to the discovery at the Bengal Hotel and Hospitality Limited, a second deceased Chinese citizen was found at another local establishment, the Marino Hotel. As of Saturday, the official identity of this second individual has not yet been confirmed by the authorities, and investigations are ongoing to establish their personal details and background information.

Following the recoveries made on Saturday morning, both bodies were promptly transported from their respective hotel locations to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital. Medical personnel at the hospital are scheduled to conduct comprehensive autopsies to determine the precise causes of death for both Chinese citizens before their remains are processed further.

In a related international development on the same day, miraculous survival was reported from the neighbouring Himalayan nation of Nepal. A Chinese national was successfully rescued alive from the debris of a hydropower project tunnel, emerging from the disaster zone exactly ten days after a devastating glacier avalanche struck the region, leaving the victim trapped underground before rescue teams finally reached them.
