Taliban foreign minister invites US to reopen Kabul embassy

The Taliban government's foreign minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, has officially invited the United States to reopen its embassy in Kabul. Alongside the reopening of the diplomatic mission, Mr. Muttaqi specifically urged the United States to invest in Afghanistan's vital natural resources and infrastructure. The foreign minister declared in the interview, 'We currently consider the chapter of war to be finished,' signaling a desire to transition the war-torn nation toward economic rehabilitation and international normalization following decades of conflict.
