Radiohead has announced a major 2027 international tour featuring a total of 16 shows across Australia and five performances in Japan. The upcoming run marks the band's first return to Australian audiences since touring behind their 2011 album.
English alternative rock icons Radiohead have officially announced a major 2027 concert tour that will bring the renowned band to audiences across both Australia and Japan. The comprehensive tour schedule includes a significant number of arena dates, highlighted by a confirmed total of 16 shows across Australia alongside an additional five performances in Japan. This extensive live itinerary marks a highly anticipated return to the stage for the group.
For the Australian leg of the journey, the band has partnered with Frontier Touring, which is serving as a co-promoter for the Australian shows. The massive tour schedule is heavily weighted across several major cities, featuring a confirmed lineup of four distinct shows in Perth, six shows in Melbourne, and additional performances scheduled in Sydney to complete the 16-show Australian itinerary.
The international tour officially kicks off at Perth’s RAC Arena on 3 May 2027. Following the opening night in Western Australia, the band will continue their run through other major Australian venues, which include Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and the Afterpay Arena, before eventually heading overseas to complete their scheduled performances in the Asian market.
In addition to the extensive Australian dates, the band has locked in a five-show residency in Japan. All five of these Japanese performances are officially scheduled to take place at the prominent GMO Arena Saitama, giving international fans in the region multiple opportunities to catch the group live during the month of May in 2027.
This upcoming tour holds particular significance for longtime followers of the group, as it represents their first time touring Australia since they last visited the country following the release of their 2011 album, The King of Limbs. Organizers have emphasized fair access for ticket purchasers, noting regarding the registration process that there is no benefit to registering earlier, and that every completed registration received by the deadline will be treated equally.
