A French court has officially issued a ruling regarding the high-profile 2016 Paris robbery case involving American celebrity Kim Kardashian, ordering symbolic financial compensation. According to details released from Paris, France, on September 17, 2026, the court decided to award a symbolic 1 euro, which is approximately 1.15 dollars, in damages to the victims of the infamous crime.

The legal proceedings stem from a terrifying incident that occurred years ago on October 3, 2016. In the early hours of that morning, 45-year-old Kim Kardashian was held hostage inside a hotel in Paris, during which criminals executed a massive heist involving more than 6 million dollars worth of jewelry. Among the stolen valuables was a staggering 4 million dollar engagement ring belonging to the reality television star.

Alongside Kardashian, 46-year-old Simone Harouche was also a victim of the harrowing ordeal at the Paris hotel. Following the conclusion of the legal proceedings tied to the dramatic event, the court officially recognized both Kardashian and Harouche as victims of the 2016 Paris horror, prompting a response from the two women regarding the French judiciary.

Through official channels, Kim Kardashian and Simone Harouche expressed their feelings about the court's recent determination. They stated that they are grateful to the French judicial system for recognizing them as victims of the terrifying events that unfolded in Paris back in 2016.

In addition to addressing the victims directly impacted inside the room, the court's ruling also included financial restitution for other parties affected by the dramatic security breach. The court ordered that the hotel where the robbery took place must be given 50,000 euros, which equates to roughly 57,741 dollars, as compensation for the incident.

Furthermore, the judicial decision addressed the staff member on duty during the crime, directing that the hotel's receptionist be awarded 109,516 euros, or approximately 126,472 dollars, in compensation. The broader criminal case concerning the multi-million dollar heist ultimately concluded with eight individuals being formally found guilty and convicted for their roles in the robbery.
