Devastating flash floods and massive landslides have struck Nepal's central Bagmati province, specifically impacting Rasuwa and several surrounding districts. The natural disaster has caused widespread destruction and prompted urgent rescue and relief efforts across the affected regions.
According to the latest confirmed reports from the area, the death toll from these severe floods has now reached 165 people. Authorities and rescue teams are working continuously in the disaster zones, though operations remain challenging due to the scale of the destruction caused by the sudden deluge.
In addition to the confirmed fatalities, authorities report that approximately 1,500 people remain missing across Nepal and neighboring Tibet. This alarming total of missing individuals includes more than 800 foreign tourists who were visiting the region when the flash floods and landslides occurred.
