The late Mutual Trust Bank founder Syed Manzur Elahi's shares will be equally transferred between his son and daughter. A total of 30,63,632 shares are involved in this recent transfer process in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In a significant corporate development announced on August 24 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, the shares belonging to the late Mutual Trust Bank founder, Syed Manzur Elahi, are set to be transferred. Specifically, a total of 30,63,632 shares will be distributed equally between his son, Syed নাসিম মনজুর (Syed Nasim Manzur), and his daughter, মুনিজ মনজুর (Muniz Manzur).
According to the verified details regarding the beneficiaries within Mutual Trust Bank (also referred to as MTB), the son, Syed Nasim Manzur, currently serves as a director of the bank. Meanwhile, the daughter, Muniz Manzur, holds the position of a sponsor within the same financial institution, ensuring the family's continued connection to the bank.
This planned distribution means that each sibling will receive exactly half of the aforementioned total amount. Consequently, both Syed Nasim Manzur and Muniz Manzur are set to receive 15,31,816 shares each from the late entrepreneur's estate, facilitating a balanced division of the financial assets.
In addition to the developments concerning Mutual Trust Bank, related share transfers have previously taken place involving another major enterprise. Specifically, a total of 11,50,495 shares that were previously held in the name of the late entrepreneur at Apex Footwear Limited have already been transferred to his two children.
Market participants and observers tracking these corporate updates closely monitor such transactions through institutional channels like the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). The ongoing transfer of these substantial shareholdings highlights the systematic restructuring of the late founder's portfolio across prominent Bangladeshi corporate entities.
