GPH Ispat Board Approves Right Share Issue to Raise Capital
GPH Ispat's board of directors has decided to raise significant capital by issuing right shares. The company plans to use the newly collected funds to repay its existing loans.

In a major financial development originating from Dhaka, Bangladesh, on September 13, the board of directors of GPH Ispat has officially decided to raise capital through the issuance of right shares. This strategic decision was finalized during a board meeting, marking a notable step for the organization as it looks to strengthen its financial structure.
According to the approved plan, the company will issue two right shares against every one existing ordinary share currently held by shareholders. Each of these right shares has been assigned a specific price of 10 taka, ensuring a standardized valuation for the entire offering as per the directives of the corporate leadership.
Through this extensive right share offering, GPH Ispat aims to accumulate a substantial amount of new capital. The total volume of capital targeted for collection through this initiative stands at 967 crore 77 lakh taka, representing a major financial maneuver within the country's corporate sector.
To achieve this targeted financial accumulation, the company will issue a massive total of 96 crore 77 lakh 66 thousand 912 right shares. This extensive quantity reflects the scale of the corporate action being undertaken by GPH Ispat in the capital market.
The primary objective behind collecting this extensive new capital is clearly defined by the corporate strategy. Confirmed details indicate that GPH Ispat will utilize the entire sum of money collected from this right share issue specifically to pay off and reduce its outstanding debts.
