A 67-year-old woman living in Colombia has turned the collection and sale of neighborhood gossip into a remarkably lucrative enterprise. Identified only by her first name, Miriam, she has successfully utilized the proceeds from her unusual business venture to purchase two houses.

Miriam is a resident of the city of Armenia, which is situated within the Quindío Department of Colombia. Rather than relying on traditional employment, she has capitalized on the everyday secrets and private information circulating among her local community members.

Operating as a purveyor of confidential news, Miriam maintains a constant vigilance regarding the activities of those around her.
