Clicks Communicator Smartphone Ships in December with Upgraded Specs and Price Hike

The Clicks Communicator smartphone is officially scheduled to begin shipping to customers in December, arriving nearly a year after its initial CES 2026 rollout. Ahead of its upcoming market release, the manufacturing company has announced several notable internal hardware upgrades for the physical keyboard-equipped device, enhancing its overall performance capabilities compared to initial projections.

Among the most prominent hardware improvements is an increase in memory. The Clicks Communicator will now ship with 12GB of RAM, marking a substantial upgrade from the originally announced 8GB of RAM. In addition to the expanded memory, the smartphone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chip, coupled with 256GB of internal storage capacity and the added flexibility of microSD card expansion for extra storage.

Visuals and endurance have also been prioritized in the latest specifications. The device features a physical keyboard positioned directly below a 4.03-inch AMOLED display that supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For power, the upgraded smartphone packs a 4,350mAh battery capacity, which is an increase over the original 4,000mAh battery capacity, and is rated to endure more than 800 charge cycles.

Imaging capabilities on the Clicks Communicator include a 50MP rear camera paired with a 24MP front-facing camera for photographs and video calls. Furthermore, the manufacturer has committed to long-term software support for the hardware, promising a total of 5 years of security updates to protect user data throughout the device's lifespan.

However, these comprehensive specification upgrades come alongside a change in the product's retail cost. Potential buyers should note that the price of the Clicks Communicator will increase from its original $499 price point to $649, with the official price hike taking effect on October 1 prior to the December shipping window.
