Chittagong Wasa and WaterAid Bangladesh Sign Agreement for 100 Water ATM Booths

In a significant development for urban infrastructure and public utilities, Chittagong Wasa and WaterAid Bangladesh have officially signed an agreement to install one hundred water ATM booths across the city of Chittagong. This collaborative initiative was finalized through a formal signing ceremony, bringing together representatives from both organizations to address the vital need for accessible water services in the urban area.
Highlighting the broader vision behind the project, Engineer Selim Md. Jane Alam remarked that the signing ceremony represents much more than a simple memorandum of understanding. According to him, the partnership marks the beginning of a joint three-year journey dedicated to making water services in the Chittagong city area significantly more inclusive and people-friendly.
Echoing this sentiment, Azman Ahmed Chowdhury noted that this formal agreement serves to further strengthen the ongoing cooperation and institutional relationship between Chittagong Wasa and WaterAid Bangladesh.
