In Ashulia, Bangladesh, local authorities made a grim discovery when police officers recovered three decomposing bodies. The remains were found inside a locked room, prompting an immediate response from the Ashulia police station and the Criminal Investigation Department, known locally as the CID. Among the individuals associated with the jurisdiction and the handling of the case are officials and local figures identified in reports as রাসেল হোসেন and তরিকুল ইসলাম.
Thousands of miles away in Gaza City, the situation involved a massive civilian casualty toll resulting from military actions. The Palestinian Civil Defense successfully recovered a total of 55 bodies and remains belonging to members of the Malka family. This large-scale recovery operation took place in the Zeitoun area of Gaza City, following extensive Israeli attacks that left a residential building completely destroyed.
According to official reports detailing the incident in the Gaza Strip, the Malka family was exceptionally large, with the household comprising more than 60 members in total. The destruction of their residential building during the military operations led to the devastating loss of life, resulting in the recovery of the 55 bodies and remains by the dedicated personnel of the Palestinian Civil Defense working through the dangerous rubble.
