Bangladesh Win Junior Asia Cup Challenger Group Undefeated

The Bangladesh women's hockey team secured a commanding 6-0 victory against Hong Kong China in the Junior Asia Cup, held in Mokei, Inner Mongolia, China. This decisive win cemented their dominant position throughout the regional tournament.

By securing this final victory, Bangladesh officially became the undefeated champions in the Challenger Group. Their path to the championship title was marked by exceptional performance, culminating in four consecutive victories without a single defeat.

The goalscoring onslaught began early in the match when Sharika Rimon successfully found the back of the net in the 9th minute. Rimon opened the scoring for Bangladesh by capitalizing on a penalty corner opportunity to put her team ahead.

The offensive momentum continued to build as Ireen Akhter Riya scored the second goal for Bangladesh in the 19th minute. Shortly after, Kona Akhter added to the scoreboard by netting the third goal for the team in the 26th minute.

As the match progressed into the later stages, Bangladesh maintained relentless pressure against Hong Kong China. Mosammat Lima contributed significantly by scoring the fourth goal for her side in the 31st minute of the encounter.

The scoring spree concluded with two more successful strikes from key players. Ireen Akhter Riya scored her second goal of the match in the 33rd minute, followed by Mosammat Lima who sealed the 6-0 victory by scoring the final goal in the 48th minute.
