Weather conditions across Bangladesh are currently being influenced by various meteorological factors as the Department of Meteorology and the weather office monitor ongoing developments. According to the latest updates released by official weather authorities, the extended axis of the monsoon trough currently stretches across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and the central region of Bangladesh all the way to Assam.

Despite this widespread positioning of the trough, current observations indicate that the monsoon wind remains relatively less active over the territory of Bangladesh itself. At the same time, atmospheric conditions confirm that the monsoon system is in a moderate state specifically over the northern part of the Bay of Bengal, continuing to shape regional weather patterns.

In terms of recent precipitation measurements recorded across the country, meteorological data shows that the highest recorded rainfall reached up to 75 millimeters during the most recent twenty-four-hour period. This localized rainfall has affected various parts of the country as the overall weather system remains dynamic.

Looking ahead to future developments, the weather office has issued a specific forecast indicating that a low-pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal region. Authorities have projected that this anticipated low-pressure system is expected to develop within the coming days, specifically by Saturday, the 19th of September.

The meteorological department continues to observe these atmospheric shifts closely to provide timely updates regarding potential rainfall and related weather phenomena across different locations in Bangladesh.
