Bangladesh to Add Titas Well No. 28 Gas to National Grid Tomorrow

According to officials from Bangladesh Gas Fields Company Limited (BGFCL), this upcoming development will introduce an additional volume of 12.5 million cubic feet of gas into the country's primary energy supply network.
Technical specifications regarding the infrastructure confirm that the depth of the newly completed Titas-28 well reaches approximately 13,000 feet. The successful completion of drilling operations at this depth marks another milestone in the ongoing efforts by Bangladesh Gas Fields Company Limited to enhance domestic gas production and alleviate energy supply constraints across the nation.
Regarding the formal introduction of the resource to the distribution network, the BGFCL has confirmed that the Titas-28 well under its operational jurisdiction will be inaugurated tomorrow by the state minister for power, energy and mineral resources. This high-level inauguration underscores the strategic importance of the 12.5 million cubic feet of daily gas supply to the broader national grid.
In addition to the operational launch of the Titas-28 well tomorrow, exploration activities in the region continue to progress. Specifically, the drilling operations for the Titas-31 deep exploration well officially commenced earlier this year on April 19, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to expanding the natural gas reserves managed under the Bangladesh Gas Fields Company Limited.
