Jet fuel prices in Bangladesh have been increased for the month of September following a major price hike that occurred in August. This latest adjustment impacts both domestic and international operations operating within and departing from the country, according to the newly released pricing schedule.

For domestic flights operating within Bangladesh, the price of jet fuel has been revised upward. The cost per litre has been increased from the previous rate of 159 taka and 52 paisa to a new price of 165 taka and 65 paisa.

International flights have also been subjected to price increases for the month of September. The cost of jet fuel for international routes has been raised from 1 point zero 358 dollars per litre to 1 point zero 770 dollars per litre.

These successive pricing adjustments follow closely on the heels of the significant price increases implemented during the month of August. The continuous upward trend in jet fuel costs directly impacts airline operations across the board in Bangladesh.

Aviation authorities and operators must now factor these higher per-litre costs into their operational budgets for domestic and international travel throughout September. The changes are effective immediately for the designated month.
