Bangladesh Girls Programming Contest 2026 Officially Launches

The official journey of the Bangladesh Girls Programming Contest 2026, also known as BDGPC, has officially begun to encourage and promote technical skills among female students across the country. This major nationwide initiative is being jointly organized and conducted by two prominent organizations: the Bangladesh Freedom Foundation, frequently referred to as BFF, and the Bangladesh Open Source Network, known as BDOsN.

Formalizing this collaborative effort, Sajjadur Rahman Chowdhury, who serves as the Executive Director of the Bangladesh Freedom Foundation, and Munir Hasan, who holds the position of President at the Bangladesh Open Source Network, have officially signed a memorandum of understanding to orchestrate the upcoming programming competition successfully.

According to the announced schedule, the competitive events will be divided into two distinct categories to accommodate different academic levels. Participants will compete within a school-college level category as well as a separate university level category, ensuring a broad and inclusive platform for young female programmers.

The timeline for the Bangladesh Girls Programming Contest 2026 is structured across multiple phases in the coming months. The official registration process will remain open throughout the entire month of September, allowing interested contestants ample time to sign up for the tournament.

Following the conclusion of the registration period, the preliminary rounds of the competition are scheduled to take place during the month of October. The event will culminate with the national final and an awards distribution ceremony, which is officially scheduled to be held in Dhaka on October 24.
