The Consulate General of Bangladesh in New York has officially launched a new call center designed to provide expatriate Bangladeshis with rapid information and essential guidance regarding various consular services. The initiative aims to streamline communication and improve the overall accessibility of administrative assistance for the diaspora living within the region.
According to the official announcement, the newly established call center commenced its operations on the first of September. This service is specifically tailored to assist Bangladeshi nationals residing throughout New York and across the other eight designated states that fall under the official consular jurisdiction of the New York mission.
To ensure maximum accessibility for the expatriate community, the consulate has arranged for the helpline to remain open seven days a week, inclusive of weekends. Individuals seeking assistance can access the call center on both Saturdays and Sundays, accommodating the busy schedules of workers and families living abroad.
In terms of operational hours, the helpline is available daily beginning at half-past nine in the morning and continues through to half-past five in the afternoon. This comprehensive schedule ensures that callers within the covered nine-state jurisdiction have ample opportunity to reach out for timely information and official directions concerning their consular needs.
