Apple has revealed the Apple Watch Ultra 4, featuring advanced health and fitness tracking capabilities, an overhauled sensor setup, and a faster S11 chip. The new device introduces extended battery performance, artificial intelligence integrations, and multiple high-end finish options.

Technology giant Apple has officially announced the launch of the Apple Watch Ultra 4, bringing significant performance upgrades and comprehensive new health and fitness tracking features to its flagship wearable lineup. The latest iteration of the smartwatch builds upon previous generations by incorporating advanced technology designed to optimize user wellness and physical activity monitoring.
At the core of the Apple Watch Ultra 4 is a faster S11 chip, which works in tandem with an overhauled sensor setup to deliver elevated performance and more precise data collection. This hardware enhancement supports a variety of new software features, including artificial intelligence-powered health insights delivered through a redesigned Health app and Apple Intelligence capabilities.
Among the standout improvements to the device is its substantially better battery life, catering to users who demand prolonged usage without frequent recharges. According to the company, battery life on the Apple Watch Ultra 4 will reach up to 84 hours when operating in low power mode. For normal everyday use, the wearable will last up to 50 hours, while users tracking workouts can expect the device to run for up to 25 hours when utilizing a newly introduced Extended Workout mode.
The wearable introduces a sophisticated daily readiness score designed to help users evaluate their physical condition and recovery status. These scores will range from 0 to 10, calculated dynamically based on a combination of recent activity, training load, underlying vitals, and an integrated sleep score.
In addition to its internal enhancements, Apple is offering the new smartwatch in a selection of distinct physical appearances. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 will be available in both natural and black titanium finishes, alongside a newly introduced Hermès variation for consumers seeking a luxury aesthetic.
