Among the prominent screenings, the 83rd Venice International Film Festival hosted a screening of the film 'The Difficult Bride', directed by Rubaiyat Hossain, on September 6. Shortly after that international presentation, the actress experienced another major milestone in North America when 'The Difficult Bride' and another film titled 'Bellyful', directed by Aniba Rahman, were both screened on September 16 at the Toronto International Film Festival. The dual screenings took place on the exact same day and at the same venue, coinciding just before the actress's birthday.

Reflecting on the remarkable global exhibition of her work, Rikita Nandini Shimu shared her thoughts on the massive screening in Venice, where 'The Difficult Bride' was presented at Sala Darsena in front of an audience of approximately 1,400 people. Furthermore, the momentum for her recent projects continues to grow as 'The Difficult Bride' has officially been selected for the international competition section of the 62nd Chicago International Film Festival, positioning it among a competitive list of 13 featured films. These international selections highlight the ongoing journey of the actress's career on the global cinematic landscape, following closely after the memorable September festival screenings in Venice and Toronto.
