Actor Soham Chakraborty and Bodyguard Accused of Assault
Actor Soham Chakraborty and his bodyguard Toton Sardar face police allegations of assault, threats, and non-payment following a complaint by carpenter Rajkapoor. The case follows a previous controversy earlier this year involving separate financial allegations.

Actor Soham Chakraborty and his bodyguard, identified as Toton Sardar, have found themselves at the center of a serious police case following accusations of assault, non-payment, and intimidation. The formal complaint was lodged by a carpenter named Rajkapoor, prompting law enforcement authorities to register a formal First Information Report (FIR) to investigate the matter thoroughly.
According to the detailed claims made by the complainant Rajkapoor, the professional engagement began on the 12th of May. On this date, the carpenter secured work at the residence of actor Soham Chakraborty to construct a wardrobe. The verbal or written agreement stipulated a total contractual payment of 55,000 rupees for the execution of the carpentry work.
Out of the agreed total amount of 55,000 rupees, an advance payment of 30,000 rupees was initially disbursed to the carpenter. However, the business relationship reportedly deteriorated, leading to the current police involvement and accusations directed against both the film personality and his bodyguard Toton Sardar.
This recent legal trouble comes on the heels of another controversy involving the actor earlier this year. Specifically, in July of the current year, actor Soham Chakraborty faced a separate and distinct accusation regarding the alleged misappropriation of 68 lakh rupees, alongside additional allegations concerning threats to life.
Local authorities, operating under the designation of police, are currently reviewing the details provided in the latest complaint filed by Rajkapoor. The investigation encompasses the allegations of assault and payment disputes, adding to the ongoing public scrutiny surrounding the actor's legal affairs.
